WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

This Full-time role brings a focus on creative exposure through all valuable channels to further strengthen our brand and sales in the Oceania market. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in marketing communication both online and offline, as well as a profound understanding of the responsible markets. You will based in our Sydney office to develop, deliver, and communicate marketing strategies to promote our brand and products locally. This will include pitching for local events and activities and leading these project, (with either in-house or 3rd party support). You will also be responsible for the local marketing team whilst working closely with our Global Headquarters in Stockholm, and APAC regional headquarters. 

Main Tasks

GENERAL

  • Marketing strategy and mix in AU & NZ with a primary focus on influencer, event and digital marketing
  • Work with the regional marketing manager APAC as well as general manager Oceania to lead localization and customization of existing working model to ensure a balanced and best fit for Oceania marketing business
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns in global and local commercial calendar and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Preparing and reviewing detailed annual budgets for all marketing activity
  • Recruiting, on-boarding and leading of local marketing team
  • Responsibility for marketing and sales KPI's
  • Management of all major influencer marketing accounts  and agencies including negotiations,contracts and relationship management 
  • Monthly forecasting of blog orders 
  • Create all written material for local campaigns incl. Web, mp, wholesale, digital media, email marketing + print
  • Support the APAC brand team + global SoMe team with copy for all APAC campaigns
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders globally including but not limited to Ecommerce, CRM, logistics, and SoMe team
RETAIL/WHOLESALE/OFFLINE
  • Point of contact for Sales/VM Reps and all their branding requests for retailers online + offline
  • Managing all print-related matters for all sales channels, ensuring print quality meets DW standards & ensuring timely distribution to retail/wholesale
  • Point of contact for retail centres, wholesale partners and affiliate partners. Evaluating all marketing opportunities and continuously pitching DW campaigns/material to ensure we are always top of mind
  • Planning, organising and evaluating events (brand + retail)
  • Hands-on online content management for Marketplace + major wholesale accounts (online VM, images + product descriptions)
  • Managing online product listing campaigns 
  • Responsible for representing the brand in retail shopping events and fairs to inform and educate about the Daniel Wellington brand and products

WHAT YOU'RE GREAT AT

You have strong self-leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as strategic thinking and a creative mind. You are ready to lead a group of young professionals from different cultures with creative and fun soul inside.

  • 5+ years of working experience within a marketing department from fashion retail industry or brand consulting industry.  Having worked on or with the Daniel Wellington brand previously is an advantage but not essential
  • Bachelor’s degree or above; Marketing, Communications or Fashion management background
  • In depth knowledge of social media marketing industry & proven track-record of driving successful influencer marketing campaigns
  • Experience from working in an international environment for a company with strong growth
  • Strong project management skills and someone who is comfortable with many touchpoints of internal an external stakeholders
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Proven experience in managing a budget, analytical skills and financial management
  • Excellent coaching, team-leader, and communication skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential
