Business Analyst (Business Support and Tech)

To help and guide our organization now and into the future we’re looking for a brilliant Business Analyst to our Business Support division within our Business Technology (IT) department. The role will be based in our Hong Kong office and the work will be mainly targeted towards our APAC region.



Our business analysts are the drivers behind our continued growth and success. In line with our commitment to innovation it’s our business analysts who seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity.

As a business analyst you'll work throughout the organization, helping to manage, change and plan for the future in line with our company goals. This could be for one specific project or as a permanent feature of the organization. You'll need to understand the current organizational situation, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs, usually (but not always) in relation to information and software systems.

You'll need to demonstrate excellent understanding of the way the organization works and the sector it operates in, as you'll be helping the organization to develop its functions, services and products to meet goals with internal and external stakeholders.

You'll also play a key role in communicating between internal departments and external parties, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to convey how technology can support the organization’s needs.

  • Identify the processes and information technology required to achieve your recommendations.
  • Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you make.
  • Use data modelling practices to analyze your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
  • Be the interface to our Business to explain and model business processes
  • Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
  • Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary
  • Support staff and teams implementing your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
  • Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.
  • Have ability to communicate effectively with technical, business resources, all levels of management and external stakeholders.
  • Have ability to clearly and concisely gather, interpret, analyze and document Business Process, User and Data, Functional and Non-Functional requirements in a structured way.
  • Are used to read business agreements and identify the business processes needed to fulfill the agreement.
  • Are able to validate the quality of the information collected and to ensure its correctness.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics
  • 4+ years' experience using BA Skills and techniques to elicit the required information and produce deliverables to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working in Agile teams, managing workshops and coordinating outputs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated leadership
  • Strong business drive and technical understanding
  • Used to work in an international organization
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
