Wholesale Key Account Manager

Now we are looking for the right candidate for our dynamic Key Account Manager role in Australia and New Zealand joining our new team in Sydney.


WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

Daniel Wellington is developing its own operations and presence in all sales channels throughout Australia and New Zealand. As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for developing the business with the wholesale accounts. You will analyse and structure the wholesale network as well as manage current business relations and sales performance. The role includes strategic and tactical work as well as hands on tasks such as securing VM, sales training to staff and partners, as well as securing a healthy balance of inventory to maximize sales targets. 

Main tasks:

  • Responsible for all wholesale accounts in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Regularly analyse sales through and optimize consolidation and replenishment of products.
  • Support the General Manager with visual and commercial best practice and expertise.
  • Training representatives and distributors and make sure they get adequate knowledge, development and coaching to optimize sales and service within our brand guidelines.
  • Making sure all stores comply and use optimized store concept, our latest and current campaign materials and product displays.
  • Making sure we reach our ambitious sales targets as well as provide local market insights on competition, purchasing behaviour, local market needs to feed back to the management team and propose solutions for growth.
  • On a frequent basis visit the point of sales.
  • Be the spokesperson of Daniel Wellington in trade shows and events.

 

WHAT YOU’RE GREAT AT

You are amazing at managing your priorities while working with multiple stakeholders in different departments and different areas. You have strong self-leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as strategic thinking and a creative mind. You get things done.

  • 3-5 years of proven relevant experience from similar role working within wholesale channels
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills.
  • Great analytical skills and experienced in negotiations.
  • Independent, passionate, detail oriented and able to complete tasks under tight timelines.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a must.
