Merchandiser - APAC Travel Retail

Daniel Wellington has a strong travel retail network globally, across airports, downtown, inflight and cruises. Within this role, you will be reporting to our Head of Travel Retail, APAC, and working closely with our Key Account Managers, Travel Retail in further developing this network in the APAC region.

Main tasks:

·       Provide a high level of service to clients in day-to-day account management, drive sales targets and support the KAM Travel Retail in increasing Daniel Wellington’s visibility in the Travel Retail channel

·       Consolidate and actively analyse sales trends and sales data to identify opportunities and business insights particularly

·       Responsible for training all sales staff and representatives of Daniel Wellington and develop a strong training plan for the TR network, driving sales and quality service

·       Ensure all stores adhere to our brand VM standards, in an optimized store concept with our latest campaign materials and product displays

·       Develop visual planograms to present merchandise in a manner that will maximize sales and achieve optimum merchandise turn, encourage best practice display methods that are reflective of the Daniel Wellington aesthetic

·       Visit our point of sales and conduct mystery shopping and trainings as needed

·       Assist team in completing new store openings and supply order

·       Be the spokesperson of Daniel Wellington in trade shows and events



You are amazing at managing multiple project in a fast paced environment. You take a proactive approach in problem solving and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills. You have a strategic and creative mind, and are can bring new ideas to the table. You are a great team player, while also have strong self-leadership skills. You get things done.

·       Bachelor degree

·       Minimum 3 years of experience working with Retail

·       Strong knowledge of the Travel Retail market, customers and stakeholders preferred

·       Confident presentation skills and public speaking abilities

·       Excellent coaching and communication skills with training experience

·       Based in Hong Kong with travel to global accounts

·       Fluency in English and Chinese both written and spoken is a must, Extra Asian language is a plus    

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
